A Midsummer Night's Dream — Act 4, Scene 1: The same. LYSANDER, DEMETRIUS, HELENA, and HERMIA

Titania continues to dote on Bottom, while his fairy attendants wait on him and scratch his head, bring him food, and answer his requests. Bottom complains about his hair, asks for music and food, and falls asleep in Titania’s arms. Oberon and Puck then appear; Oberon explains that Titania has given him the changeling boy and orders Puck to remove the ass’s head from Bottom so the spell can be ended. After waking Titania, Oberon reconciles with her and sends the fairies away. At dawn, Theseus, Hippolyta, and Egeus discover the sleeping lovers in the wood. Theseus overrules Egeus and decides that the four young people should be married at once in Athens.
