As You Like It — Act 2, Scene 6: The forest.

Orlando and Adam arrive farther into the Forest of Arden, but Adam is nearly exhausted from hunger and can go no farther. He lies down and speaks as if he is ready to die, thanking Orlando for his kindness. Orlando tries to rouse him, urging him to stay alive and promising to find food in the strange forest. He says he will either bring back something to eat or be defeated by the wilderness himself. Seeing Adam exposed in the cold air, Orlando decides to carry him to shelter and refuses to let him starve if he can help it. The scene ends with Orlando leading Adam off to find a place to rest.
