Cymbeline — Act 3, Scene 2: Another room in the palace.

Pisanio reads the letter he has received from Posthumus and is horrified to find that it orders Imogen’s death. He condemns Posthumus’s sudden mistrust and struggles with the command, but when Imogen enters, he hides his distress and gives her the letter. Imogen joyfully learns that Posthumus is alive and in Wales at Milford Haven, and she immediately resolves to go to him. She questions Pisanio about the distance, then asks him to arrange a disguise and pretend that her lady is sick so she can leave the palace. Pisanio warns her to think carefully, but Imogen insists on going at once.
