Much Ado About Nothing — Act 5, Scene 2: LEONATO'S garden.

In Leonato’s garden, Benedick asks Margaret to fetch Beatrice and jokes with her as they trade playful insults. After Margaret leaves, Benedick sings and reflects that love has made him awkward, unable to speak or rhyme like other lovers. Beatrice enters, and the two begin their usual sharp exchange, but Benedick also tells her that Claudio must answer his challenge over Hero’s disgrace. They admit their love for each other in witty terms and talk about their poor health. Ursula then arrives with the news that Hero has been falsely accused, that the prince and Claudio have been deceived, and that Don John is responsible. Beatrice and Benedick go to Leonato’s uncle together.
