The First part of King Henry the Fourth — Act 2, Scene 4: The Boar's-Head Tavern, Eastcheap.

Prince Henry and Poins return to the Boar’s-Head and tease the drawer Francis by calling for him from different rooms until he is left confused. When Falstaff arrives with Gadshill, Bardolph, and Peto, the Prince and Poins mock their tale of the robbery, exposing Falstaff’s exaggerated story of fighting many men. The joking turns into a brief mock trial in which Falstaff pretends to be King Henry and the Prince plays the accused son. A knock interrupts them: the sheriff has come to search the house. Prince Henry hides Falstaff, speaks for him, and sends the sheriff away. Then he and Peto find Falstaff asleep and read his tavern bills.
