The First part of King Henry the Fourth — Act 3, Scene 1: Bangor. The Archdeacon's house.

At the Archdeacon’s house in Bangor, Hotspur, Worcester, Mortimer, and Glendower meet to divide the kingdom and settle their rebellion’s plans. Hotspur immediately quarrels with Glendower, mocking his stories about strange signs at birth, his pride, and his learning. The argument turns to the map, where Hotspur insists on changing the border to suit him, while Glendower refuses. Mortimer and Worcester scold Hotspur for his rude temper. Then the women enter: Mortimer and his wife cannot speak each other’s language, but Glendower translates their tender exchange. Hotspur jokes with Lady Percy, then leaves as the others finish sealing the agreement.
