The First part of King Henry the Fourth — Act 5, Scene 4: Another part of the field.

On the battlefield, King Henry orders Prince Henry to withdraw because he is bleeding, and Lancaster refuses to leave unless he is wounded too. Westmoreland helps the king away, while Lancaster and Westmoreland depart to continue the fight. Prince Henry praises Lancaster’s courage, and the king admires the prince’s rescue of him. Douglas then attacks, thinking the king is a disguised fake, but Prince Henry returns, drives Douglas off, and reassures his father. Soon Hotspur meets the prince in single combat, and they fight until Hotspur is wounded and dies. Prince Henry honors him, then finds Falstaff pretending to be dead. After Falstaff claims he killed Hotspur, the prince and Lancaster leave as retreat sounds.
