The Life and Death of Julius Caesar — Act 5, Scene 4: Another part of the field.

In the fighting at Philippi, Brutus tries to rally his men and calls on them to keep their spirits up. Cato loudly declares his loyalty to Rome and his father Marcus Cato, and Brutus does the same for himself before moving off. Lucilius mourns the young and brave Cato, who is killed in the battle. When enemy soldiers demand that Lucilius yield, he offers money and tells them to kill him only if they can claim Brutus’s capture. The soldiers take him prisoner instead and report to Antony that Brutus has been taken. Antony arrives, questions Lucilius, and is pleased by his loyalty, then orders him guarded while the search for Brutus continues.
