The Life of King Henry the Fifth — Act 5, Scene 2: France. A royal palace.

At the French palace, King Henry meets King of France, Queen Isabel, Katharine, Burgundy, and the nobles to settle peace. Burgundy argues that France has fallen into disorder from war and urges both kingdoms to end their conflict. Henry says peace depends on France accepting his demands, and the French king agrees to review the articles with his council. Henry then keeps Katharine behind and woos her directly, speaking awkwardly in English and French until she consents to marry him. When the French king returns, Henry asks again for her hand and for recognition of his claims. The French king agrees, and both sides celebrate the match and the peace.
