The Second part of King Henry the Fourth — Act 5, Scene 3: Gloucestershire. SHALLOW'S orchard.

In Shallow’s orchard, Shallow, Silence, Falstaff, Bardolph, and the others sit down to a cheerful supper while Silence sings and Davy serves wine and food. The mood changes when Davy announces that Pistol has arrived from court with news. Pistol speaks in grand, mocking language, then tells Falstaff that King Henry IV is dead and Prince Henry is now King Henry V. Falstaff is delighted and instantly imagines the new king will favor him. He orders Bardolph to saddle the horses, tells Shallow to claim any office he wants, and prepares to ride to court at once, full of confidence and ambition.
