The Second part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 3, Scene 3: A bedchamber.

King Henry, Salisbury, and Warwick gather at the Cardinal Beaufort’s bedside and try to speak to him as he lies dying. Beaufort is terrified and confused, imagining Gloucester’s ghost and crying out in fear and guilt. Henry responds with pity, praying for God’s mercy on the Cardinal and asking that the evil tormenting him be driven away. Warwick comments that such suffering shows what kind of life Beaufort lived, while Salisbury urges them not to disturb the dying man. Henry asks Beaufort for a sign of repentance, but he gives none and dies. Henry then orders the body covered and the curtain drawn, and the others leave in solemn reflection.
