The Second part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 5, Scene 2: Saint Alban's.

At Saint Alban’s, the battle erupts as Warwick searches for Clifford and York joins the fighting after Clifford kills York’s horse. Warwick leaves to seek other combat, and York and Clifford face each other. They exchange bitter insults, fight, and York kills Clifford, then prays briefly over him. Clifford’s young son enters, finds his father dead, and is driven into fierce rage, vowing to abandon mercy and seek revenge through cruelty. He carries off his father’s body. Meanwhile, Richard kills Somerset in another fight. King Henry and Queen Margaret appear in retreat, and Margaret urges Henry to flee because they cannot stand against the enemy. Young Clifford returns and forces them to continue their escape.
