The Third part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 2, Scene 4: Another part of the field.

Richard of Gloucester and Clifford meet apart from the battle and each claims the other as his personal enemy. Richard declares that he has singled Clifford out to avenge both his father York and his young brother Rutland. Clifford answers by boasting that he killed York and Rutland and is ready to do the same to Richard. They fight, and Warwick appears just as Clifford gives way and runs off. Richard refuses Warwick’s attempt to redirect him and says he will keep hunting Clifford himself, treating him as a wolf that must be driven down and killed.
