The Third part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 5, Scene 5: Another part of the field.

At the end of the fighting, King Edward IV brings in Queen Margaret, Oxford, and Somerset as prisoners. He sends Oxford to Hames Castle and orders Somerset’s execution, while Margaret and the prisoners submit to their fate. When Prince Edward is brought in, Edward questions him about supporting Lancaster and stirring up rebellion. The prince answers defiantly, claiming Henry’s cause and insulting Edward and his brothers. Edward, Gloucester, and Clarence stab the young prince to death. Margaret is overcome with grief and rage, curses the killers, and begs to die as well, but she is dragged away. Gloucester leaves for London, and Edward orders his men to march there with Margaret as a captive.
