The Tragedy of Coriolanus — Act 4, Scene 3: A highway between Rome and Antium.

A Roman and a Volscian meet on a highway and recognize each other as old acquaintances. The Roman, called Adrian or Nicanor, says he has come from Rome and reports that the city has been shaken by revolt against the senators and nobles. He explains that the unrest has eased for now, but the nobles are furious over Coriolanus’s banishment and are ready to strip power from the people and the tribunes. The Volscian is pleased by this news and says his side is prepared for war. The two men agree to travel together, each glad to have met the other.
