The Tragedy of Coriolanus — Act 4, Scene 5: The same. A hall in Aufidius's house.

At Aufidius’s house in Antium, the servingmen bustle about the feast and first try to turn away a disguised Coriolanus, mistaking him for a poor intruder. Coriolanus answers their insults with contempt, revealing none of his identity until Aufidius arrives. Then he unmasks himself and names himself Caius Marcius Coriolanus, telling Aufidius that Rome has banished him and that he now offers his service against his own country. Aufidius, at first amazed, embraces him warmly, declares his admiration, and welcomes him as an ally. He agrees to share command with Coriolanus and brings him into the house as the servingmen react in astonishment.
