The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark — Act 4, Scene 6: Another room in the castle.

Horatio is met by a servant who brings in several sailors carrying letters. One sailor gives Horatio a message from Hamlet, who has somehow been caught by pirates after a chase at sea. In the letter, Hamlet explains that he boarded the enemy ship, was captured when the pirates broke away, and is now being treated leniently. He asks Horatio to deliver the sailors and Hamlet’s other letters to the king, then to come to him quickly with news. Hamlet also says Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are still bound for England. Horatio agrees to guide the sailors to the king and act at once.
