Twelfth Night — Act 2, Scene 1: The sea-coast.

On the sea-coast, Antonio tries to keep Sebastian with him, but Sebastian refuses and asks to travel alone so his troubles will not burden anyone else. Sebastian then reveals his true name and explains that he is the brother of the woman who was believed drowned in the shipwreck. He mourns her loss and says he is heading to Duke Orsino’s court. Antonio is sorry to part from him, offers to serve him, and speaks openly of his deep affection. Sebastian leaves, while Antonio decides to follow despite the danger, even though he knows he has enemies in Orsino’s court.
