All's Well That Ends Well — Act 2, Scene 5: Paris. The KING's palace.

Lafeu and Bertram speak about Parolles, and Lafeu openly mocks him while Bertram defends him as a man of learning and courage. When Parolles arrives, Lafeu continues his insults, then leaves warning Bertram not to trust him in serious matters. Bertram and Parolles then talk privately about Helena: Parolles says she has spoken with the King and received leave to depart, and Bertram tells her to go home and send his letter to his mother. Helena tries to speak more plainly and seems to hint at her feelings, but Bertram cuts her off and hurries her away. After she exits, Bertram complains of his forced marriage and departure.
