As You Like It — Act 2, Scene 2: A room in the palace.

Duke Frederick enters with his lords and immediately demands news of Rosalind and Celia, wondering how they could disappear without anyone seeing. The First Lord reports that their chamber attendants found Rosalind’s bed empty in the morning, though she had been seen there the night before. The Second Lord adds that Touchstone, the clown Frederick mocked at court, is also missing. A gentlewoman named Hisperia has overheard Celia and Rosalind praising the young wrestler who defeated Charles, so Frederick assumes the absent youth is traveling with them. He orders Oliver, Orlando’s brother, to be brought to him at once so he can help find Orlando.
