Measure for Measure — Act 4, Scene 5: Fields without the town.

The Duke, now in his own habit, meets Friar Peter in the fields and gives him letters to deliver at the proper time. He says the provost already understands their plan and reminds Peter to stick to the main purpose even if the details change. He sends Peter to notify Flavius of his location, and also asks that Valentinus, Rowland, and Crassus be told to bring trumpets to the gate. After Peter leaves, Varrius arrives, and the Duke thanks him for coming quickly. He says they will walk together and waits for more friends who are expected to join them soon.
