Romeo and Juliet — Act 2, Scene 5: Capulet's orchard.

In Capulet’s orchard, Juliet waits anxiously for the Nurse to return with news from Romeo. She complains that the Nurse is moving too slowly and imagines how much faster love’s messages should travel. When the Nurse arrives with Peter, Juliet sends Peter away and presses for an answer, but the Nurse delays by complaining about her tired body and aching bones. At last she praises Romeo, confirms that Juliet has chosen well, and reveals that Romeo wants Juliet to go to Friar Laurence’s cell that afternoon for confession and marriage. The Nurse also says she will fetch a ladder for Romeo to climb to Juliet later that night.
