The First part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 1, Scene 4: Orleans.

On the walls of Orleans, a Master Gunner tells his boy that he has placed a cannon to stop the English from spying through a grate in the tower. The boy agrees to watch. Then Salisbury, Talbot, Glansdale, Gargrave, and other English soldiers appear on the turrets. Salisbury welcomes Talbot back and asks how he was freed from prison, and Talbot describes his ransom and the shameful treatment he suffered in France. As the English look through the grate to study the city, the French fire the gun and kill Salisbury and Gargrave. Talbot mourns Salisbury, then receives word that Joan la Pucelle has joined the Dauphin to raise the siege.
