The First part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 5, Scene 5: London. The palace.

At Westminster, Suffolk presents King Henry with an elaborate praise of Margaret of Anjou and persuades him that she is the right bride for a king. Henry, already moved by the description, agrees to marry her and orders Suffolk to travel to France to arrange the match and bring Margaret to England. Gloucester objects, reminding Henry that he is already betrothed and warning that the marriage is a disgrace, but Henry rejects the objection and sends him away with the rest. Left alone, Suffolk boasts that he has succeeded and plans to use the marriage to gain power over Margaret, the king, and the realm.
