The Life and Death of Julius Caesar — Act 4, Scene 1: A house in Rome.

In a room in Rome, Antony, Octavius, and Lepidus make a list of people they want to have killed, and Octavius even includes his own brother if Antony agrees. Lepidus accepts the orders, but Antony clearly treats him as a useful tool rather than an equal. After sending Lepidus to Caesar’s house to fetch Caesar’s will, Antony and Octavius discuss how little value he really has and compare him to a trained animal that can be directed and discarded. Antony then tells Octavius that Brutus and Cassius are gathering forces, so they must join together at once and hold council to prepare for the danger.
