The Life and Death of Richard the Third — Act 4, Scene 3: The same.

Tyrrel enters to report that the murder of the two young princes has been carried out. He describes how he hired Dighton and Forrest to smother the children, and says that even these hardened men were shaken by pity when they saw the boys together in bed with a prayer book beside them. Richard then arrives and eagerly asks whether the boys are dead and buried, and Tyrrel confirms it. Richard promises him reward and asks him to return later with more details. Once Tyrrel leaves, Richard reflects that Clarence’s son, the princess, the princes, and Anne are now all out of his way. Catesby then brings bad news: Ely has joined Richmond, and Buckingham is raising forces in Wales. Richard prepares quickly for war.
