The Life and Death of Richard the Third — Act 5, Scene 4: Another part of the field.

On the battlefield, fighting breaks out as Catesby urgently calls for help for Norfolk and reports that Richard is fighting with unusual bravery, now on foot after his horse has been killed. He says Richard is charging through danger in search of Richmond and begs rescue before the battle is lost. Richard then enters in the middle of the confusion and cries out for a horse, saying he would give his kingdom for one. Catesby offers to help him find another mount, but Richard refuses to withdraw, saying he has risked his life and will trust the outcome. He declares that he thinks he has already struck down several men mistaken for Richmond.
