The Life of King Henry the Fifth — Act 4, Scene 8: Before KING HENRY'S pavilion.

Williams meets Fluellen and accuses the glove he struck of belonging to the French duke, but Fluellen calls him a traitor and tries to arrest him. King Henry arrives and explains that Williams had actually challenged him in disguise the night before. Henry confirms the match by producing the other glove, then gives Williams a purse of crowns and orders him and Fluellen to make peace. A herald reports the battle’s losses and prisoners, and Henry hears the long list of French nobles killed while the English have lost only a few named men and twenty-five others. He thanks God, forbids boasting, and orders prayers, burial rites, and the march onward.
