The Third part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 2, Scene 3: A field of battle between Towton and Saxton, in

On the battlefield, Warwick rests after heavy fighting, exhausted from the struggle. Edward rushes in first, desperate and fearful, and George follows with the news that their side is losing badly and their ranks are broken. Richard arrives and tells Warwick that his brother has been killed by Clifford, dying with a call for revenge. Warwick responds by vowing not to flee and to continue fighting until he is dead or avenged. Edward joins that vow, and Richard embraces Warwick in grief. George urges them not to lose heart and to return to their troops, where they can still encourage the soldiers and continue the battle.
