Twelfth Night — Act 3, Scene 3: A street.

Sebastian and Antonio arrive together in Illyria, with Sebastian apologizing for having been a burden, while Antonio explains that his concern and affection drove him to follow despite the danger. Sebastian thanks him warmly and suggests they spend the evening seeing the city’s sights, but Antonio refuses because he fears being recognized. He reveals that he fought against Orsino’s ships in a sea battle and could be punished if seen here. Antonio gives Sebastian his purse and tells him to stay in town while he arranges lodging and supper at the Elephant. Sebastian agrees to carry the purse for an hour and go look around alone.
