Cymbeline — Act 5, Scene 2: Field of battle between the British and Roman camps.

The Roman and British armies meet in battle, with Posthumus fighting among the British in disguise as a poor soldier. He defeats and disarms Iachimo, and Iachimo is shaken by his guilt over slandering Imogen, admitting that his shame has weakened him. As the fighting continues, the Britons are driven back and Cymbeline is captured. Belarius, Guiderius, and Arviragus arrive and urge the British to stand their ground, and Posthumus returns to help them, leading to Cymbeline’s rescue. Lucius then reappears with Iachimo and Imogen, but the battlefield is in confusion, and Lucius decides they must either strengthen their forces or flee.
