The First part of King Henry the Sixth — Act 5, Scene 3: Before Angiers.

In the fighting near Angiers, Joan la Pucelle sees the French army breaking and calls on her spirits for help, but they appear and refuse to aid her. She offers blood and even her soul, yet they leave, and Joan realizes her magical power has failed. York then catches her in hand-to-hand combat and takes her prisoner as the French flee. In the same battle, Suffolk seizes Margaret, daughter of Reignier of Naples, and is immediately struck by her beauty. He turns her capture into a bargaining tool, persuading Reignier to agree that Margaret will be Henry’s queen in exchange for peace and the return of Maine and Anjou.
