The Second part of King Henry the Fourth — Act 5, Scene 4: London. A street.

Beadles drag in Mistress Quickly and Doll Tearsheet to punish them for their part in a violent tavern brawl. Quickly protests that the arrest has injured her shoulder and angrily blames the officers, while Doll lashes out with insults and denies their accusations. The first Beadle says a man has died after the fight in which they and Pistol were involved, and he orders both women to come along for whipping. Quickly briefly wishes Sir John Falstaff were there to defend them, but the Beadle does not listen. The two women continue cursing the officer as he leads them away to face a justice.
