The Tragedy of Coriolanus — Act 1, Scene 5: Corioli. A street.

Roman soldiers gather up spoils from the fighting and argue over what they have taken, showing how the battle is still underway. Marcius and Titus Lartius enter, and Marcius mocks the men who are already stopping to sort out loot. He hears the larger battle continuing and says he wants to join Cominius, while also pointing out that Aufidius is driving into the Roman lines. Lartius notices that Marcius is badly bleeding and urges him not to fight again so soon, but Marcius insists the wound is minor and leaves to challenge Aufidius. Lartius then orders a trumpet sounded in the market-place so the town officers can be summoned.
